(That picture links to a MAGICAL SURPRISE, by the way.)
I thought it would be a great idea to watch the sun come up from Parliament Hill on the Heath for the Summer Solstice.
It was cloudy.
We were first up the hill and took some photos.
A family of three arrived and popped open some champagne and huddled together for a lovely cuddle at 4.43am, when the sun didn’t really come up at all, due to all of the rain and cloud.
We ate croissants, and walked back down the hill in the pouring rain, then went back to sleep until it was time to wake up for work, like it was any regular old morning.
It’s all downhill from here.
